Snyder began his career in publishing long before the desktop revolution.
1983 - 1990 International Voyager Publications
Snyder joined IVP as a paste-up artist and eventually worked his way up to Art Director of the inflight division. Thereafter he was made Advertising Art Director, and lastly served as Senior Art Director before moving to greener pastures.
1990 - 1995 First Marketing Corporation
Snyder joined FMC as Director of Electronic Design. Eventually, he was promoted to Vice President managing a staff of 35. During his tenure, his responsibilities included coaching his entire creative staff to be proficient in the use of desktop publishing, and proving ROI of capital expenditures on new technologies and equipment.
1996 - 1998 National Council on Compensation Insurance
Snyder accepted the position of Senior Art Director for NCCI where he spent two years working with his team to produce a wide variety of material for the Workers Compensation industry. Material ranged from printed brochures to multi-media presentations and orchestrating all aspects of A/V for NCCI's annual symposium, with an audience of around 800 insurance professionals.
1998 - Present Tympani Marketing
Relocating to Atlanta, GA in 1998, Snyder accepted the position of Director of New Media for an innovative marketing firm, specializing in data-driven marketing. He serves in that capacity currently, and has done so remotely from his home in Charleston, SC since August 2000. Projects on which he has worked in this capacity have ranged from CD-ROM CBT to web design/UE, widely varying print and multi-media projects.
